The newly equipped survivors set off to find their friends and family before it’s too late. The streets are crawling with zombies. It will be no easy task.
First off, I have to credit the inspiration for this track to Jace, aka Prizmatic Spray. I had been listening to Sky Burial a lot when I wrote this song, and the general insanity and genius of that album was something I attempted to emulate with the intro. This was another frustrating song since after I wrote the intro I had NO idea where to go with it. I must have deleted and scrapped riffs every other minute. Didn’t matter what I did, I hated everything. The first verse I’m still not crazy about since it just kinda happened and I didn’t know what else to do with it. The pre-chorus, though, hit me one day and I just knew it would work. For some reason I felt like I was channeling Dragon’s Child by Iced Earth when I was getting unstuck with this track and it helped me bring it to completion. I have to give credit for that ending to Children of Bodom since Kissing the Shadows has one of my favorite endings to a song ever and it felt natural to add something along those lines to this.

I start this song every time I am doing Super sets in my home gym. I end up with a pool of sweat and my a melted face from the bad ass riffs that rip through my home from this Master Guitarist.
